Account Manager

Department: Sales

Reports to: President

Responsibilities:

Our growing industrial seamless flooring business seeks an experienced, motivated sales representative/closer. We’re looking for a professional who can quickly absorb and retain technical product knowledge. The successful candidate will receive 4-6 weeks of on-the-job training, then take ownership of direct sales responsibilities including face-to-face customer visits, prospecting and cold calling. We provide some pre-set, warm qualified leads with the opportunity to create your own.

The position requires regional travel, generally within 50-75 miles of the office, about 50% of time. If you love a challenge and have the ability to learn a technical field, we can’t wait to see your resume.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication, organizational and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain relationships
  • At least 2 years of proven success in sales
  • Responsible, smart worker who is a self-starter
  • Must follow-up with unsold leads and past customers
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must pass a background check

JOB BENEFITS:

  • Very lucrative earning potential - $100,000 plus
  • Weekly base pay plus commissioned sales

Job Type: Full-time, Commission

Pay scales associated with job:

Base salary plus commission. Position includes company vehicle, phone allowance, and full benefits. Employee reviews are held every 12 months to evaluate pay rates and performance. 

Requirements:

Must have good communication and listening skills and able to work with both office workers and field crew.  Ability to work independently and as a part of a team with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Sage CRM (or other CRM) a plus. 

Paid Holidays

All paid holidays (6 per year) and vacation days are paid if worker maintains a 40 hour a week minimum for a period of one year.

Health Insurance:

Health Insurance will be offered to employees that maintain good standings in the company, have been with the company for a period of 90 days, while maintaining the standard 40 hours a week. Company will pay ½ of premiums.
